Courtney has been teaching group fitness since March 2010. She has loved dancing and expressing herself through dance all her life. She is happy to have found a way to share that love for dancing and the passion for being healthy and fit at Fitness Your Way. Courtney is also a P.E. teacher. She is certified in Group Strength, teaches Aqua Zumba, Bollywood, Zumba Gold, Zumba Sentao, Zumba Step, Zumba, After Dark, Hip Hop, and Turbokick.
As a Physician Assistant at Rockbridge Pediatrics, Kerri has been preaching the importance of weight control and fitness for years. However, as a full-time working mother of three, she has been searching for a fun way to do just that. She has found it in Zumba®! Since starting Zumba® in October 2011, she has gained energy and lost over 30 lbs. Kerri decided to share her experience and excitement with others and became a licensed instructor. Kerri teaches Zumba.
Holly has had a passion for health and fitness since high school. She became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2004 during college. After graduating she taught Health and P.E. for 7 years. Holly first started taking Zumba classes in 2007 and became a licensed instructor in 2010 so that she could share Zumba with her P.E. students. Upon moving to Lexington, in the fall of 2012, she met Courtney and was able to continue teaching Zumba at Fitness Your Way. Holly enjoys sharing her passion for health and fitness with all ages and fitness levels. Holly teaches Aqua Zumba, Zumba Toning, and Zumba.
As an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for the last 11 years, Holly Snyder offers well-rounded fitness training for all participants. Fitness for all ages is her passion; she is an elementary school Physical Education teacher and runs a movement camp for kids in the summer time (Camp PLAY). In addition, Holly has had extensive training in Nutrition Education and Core Stability. Her goal is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals through healthy living – moving, eating, and thinking healthy. She is also a Certified Instructor of CPR/AED through the American Red Cross. Holly teaches Butts and Guts and PiYo Live.
Rebecca Wilder is a native of Rockbridge County. Since June of 2013, Rebecca has been the Health and Wellness Manager for Kendal at Lexington, and is responsible for promoting health and wellness throughout the entire Kendal community. Her passion for fitness has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities within the community, including co-leading charity boot camps. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise at Virginia Tech, and is finishing up a Masters in Counseling at Liberty University. She is currently certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through AFAA, and holds a Group Strength certification through SCW. Rebecca teaches Bootcamp, H.I.I.T., and Running 101.
Kimberly Kennedy loves the way members in her fitness classes challenge and inspire her during every workout! She started learning about fitness and proper nutrition at age 13 when she realized she wanted to live a life filled with energy and happiness. She is inspired by women like Jillian Michaels (as well as her own Mom) who, like herself, overcame an obese childhood to live a fit, healthy adult life. She spent 20 years in the Air Force and during many of those years served as a Physical Training Lead for her work centers. She also taught step aerobics while deployed in Southwest Asia. She retired from active duty in 2014, and now teaches FUN Kettlebell AMPD and step aerobics classes, as well as other varieties of fitness classes.
Krista Staton has been a certified group fitness instructor since 2014. By day Krista teaches high school art. Krista’s fitness journey began in college, when she developed a love for running. She has since completed six half-marathons. She enjoys hiking with her dog “Harper,” painting, and attending group fitness classes at Fitness Your Way. Her love of group fitness has everything to do with the synergy of individuals working together toward a goal of better health and the importance of enjoyment in fitness. Krista teaches Cardioblast.
